Why study difficult wounds?<\/h2>\n

Some leg ulcers persist despite standard care. The study examined whether a defined topical LL-37 preparation added to compression treatment improved healing. Compression treatment was part of the comparison, so this was not a test of a peptide acting alone without usual care. [1]<\/p>\n
